BOTOX®

What is Botox?

Botox is a commonly used cosmetic treatment by both men and women that is injected into the muscle to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles on a temporary basis. It is also referred to as botulinum toxin type A, which blocks muscles’ nerve activity.

Depending on your specific treatment, injections can be made in multiple areas per visit and should be spaced a minimum of 3 months apart.

JUVEDERM ULTRA

Juvederm Ultra & Ultra Plus are colorless hyaluronic acid injectable gels that are used to smooth facial tissue, most commonly in the nose and mouth area, known as marionette lines. A naturally produced sugar in the human body, hyaluronic acid hydrates skin by retaining moisture and deliver nutrients, while acting as a cushioning agent.

When injected, the gel increases the volume to the facial tissue causing a smooth appearance on a temporary basis. This can address moderate to severe wrinkles and folds of the skin.

In many cases, only one treatment is needed to result in ideal smoothing of wrinkles and folds that can last up to 1 year.

VOLUMA

Voluma is a non-surgical filler used to correct age-related volume loss in the cheeks to create a more youthful appearance. Voluma is injected to add volume beneath the surface of the skin to lift and contour the cheek area and reduce sagging. Results can last up to 2 years and may require fewer injections upon later treatments.

KYBELLA®

KYBELLA® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile.

The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
